Factories are transforming the standard design build process with new otpions like 3D printing, real time monitoring, and additive manufacturing. These processes allow for incredible material efficiency and factory automation, but also allow for tweaks to be made to customize products by management and consumers alike. These types of highly innovative practices are where the workforce in the US are at their best, and when the advantage of artificially cheap labor is removed from the equation, it is a new game entirely.
