Can the U.S. Manufacturing Sector Generate More Jobs? (video)

The U.S. manufacturing sector has declined in recent years, adding to historically high unemployment numbers and the slow recovery from the Great Recession. Senior Fellow Martin Baily examines whether the sector can improve quickly and also the policies needed to foster job growth. Baily says there may be unrealistic expectations about the number and quality of manufacturing jobs that can be added to the domestic economy in the years to come.
